Emma grew up in cafés across San Francisco, places that felt like second homes, where mornings stretched and ideas took shape over coffee. When she founded Chamberlain Coffee, the vision extended beyond the cup: to one day create a space of her own.

That vision became a reality with our first café in Century City, followed by our first standalone location on Abbot Kinney in Venice. A defining moment for the brand, the space reflects a deeper commitment to creating environments where people can gather, linger, and feel at home.

Each café marks a new chapter rooted in community, creativity, and a love for the ritual of coffee.

Each Chamberlain Coffee café is designed as an extension of Emma’s home. Created in collaboration with Proem Studio, the same designers behind her personal space, the environments are warm, layered, and deeply intentional.

The Abbot Kinney café is conceived as an extension of Emma's kitchen. Marble counters, soft greens, warm woods, and Chamberlain’s signature blue create a space that feels intimate and quietly elevated. Subtle nods to the Venice coastline and vintage details add a sense of familiarity, more lived-in than storefront.

Unlike our first café, the space invites guests to stay. Seating areas encourage a slower pace, with drinks served in ceramic mugs and moments meant to be savored.
