I love the fluffy lamb vanilla grounds and I wanted to see if I would like the cold brew to save some time in the morning when making my coffee. But if you follow the recommended instructions, the cold brew ends up a super light brown color and has no flavor, it just tastes like water with barely the smallest hint of coffee. My expectation of a cold brew is that it's black in color or super dark brown and very strong in flavor. I figured I'd just have a higher creamer to coffee ratio to make sure I didn't have a reaction to too much caffeine. I thought it was just me but I looked at some of the reviews of the xl cold brew bags and found a lot of other people that say the same. I have two more bags left, so I'm between adding both and making one last batch and see if it works better, adding less water and not diluting it after it's done steeping, or steeping it for more than 12 hours. I think I'll also try steeping it in room temperature water instead of cold water. If not, I'm not sure I'll buy these again. I'll just stick with the grounds.
